Description

BCRockies is the beginning of many attempts I would take at getting large outdoor maps working on a quake1 era bsp engine. I went to Bowen Island BC and took photos on a 1 megapixel digital camera then cropped them into card style foliage which i used extensively around the map. It was pretty tough to get any sort of dense foliage and long draw distance while trying not to go over 800 polygons viewable at any one time.
